Soulful Scent

The Koda hair salon group introduces Nero Palo Santo, a unisex scent blended in a collaborative effort by the Italian perfumer Diletta Tonatto and Koda’s creative director, Diane Gorgievski. Marked by a seductively smoky profile, the fragrance blends heart notes of sage, pepper, rose, iris and amber woods with birch, musk and incense. The scent evokes the salons’ practice of clearing the air with palo santo sticks, and was blended to uplift the spirit and promote a tranquil atmosphere. $250 (100ml).

Grand Dram

Glenfiddich’s latest luxury pour is the 29-year-old Grand Yozakura, aged for nearly three decades and finished in casks from Okinawa, Japan, that previously held the nation’s oldest distilled spirit, awamori. To commemorate the drop, Glenfiddich partnered with the Melbourne-based custom sneaker artist Chase Shiel on limited-edition Grand Yozakura high-tops; both kicks and whisky inspired by the fleeting beauty of Japanese cherry blossoms under moonlight. Grand Yozakura, from $2,760 (700ml); box set with sneakers, $15,999.

Surf’s Up

Louis Vuitton has set its sights on the swell this season, courtesy of a barrel-ready collaboration with the Los Angeles-based multimedia artist Alex Israel. The Surf On the Beach board features a meticulously crafted fibreglass body handpainted with Israel’s signature gradient effect, inspired by California sunsets. A frosted Monogram overlay and custom-made fins reflect the brand’s commitment to exquisite detailing. $18,300.
